Bittersweet Caf' features True Stone Fair Trade / Direct Trade Organic Coffee – A small batch roaster of the finest seasonably available coffees from around the world. We serve Espresso, Organic Teas and Chai, All-Natural Smoothies, scratch made Baked Goods, Ice Cream Cones & Sundaes, high quality Sandwiches, Soups and Panini’s in a clean, bright and relaxing environment with warm, friendly and fast service! Stop in for our famous Popovers or Cinnamon Sugar Popovers baked fresh every morning.

Bittersweet is located on the Archer House River Inn’s lobby level. Relax in an overstuffed leather chair or work on your lap top while using our free Wi-Fi. The light filled space offers a beautiful view of Northfield's Downtown Division Street and the Carnegie Library and is across the street from the Carleton College campus. When visiting Bittersweet stop in at A Bag Lady for the perfect accessory or a Paper Petalum Gift Shop located on either side of Bittersweet!
