About Dana Gallery

The Dana Gallery opened in downtown Missoula in September, 1996. In 2004 we moved to 246 North Higgins Avenue and occupy 4000 square feet of space, making us the largest contemporary art gallery in Montana. We represent over 40 Montana and regional painters many of whom are internationally recognized. The styles of the artists that we represent vary from contemporary to traditional.

The Dana Gallery is proud to have hosted the Oil Painters of America exhibition in 2006. A record number of sales were made at the show and consequently we were invited to host this prestigious event again in 2008. The gallery also held the Meridian International Out West show, featuring 60 contemporary Western Artists in 2007. Several of the Dana Gallery artists were chosen to be in that show including, Dudley Dana, Tom Gilleon, George Gogas, Robert Moore, Davi Nelson, Kevin Red Star, Thom Ross, Theodore Waddell and Parvin Zabetian. The exhibition eventually toured all the major art galleries in China.
