The Black Shutter Antique Center has occupied the 19th Century Plaster House at 1 Loudoun Street, S.E. in historic Leesburg since 1998, offering 20 rooms of antiques and art on two levels. Owners Brenda Kemmerer and Barbara Gardner are proud of the over 35 show quality antique dealers located at the Black Shutter. While many dealers carry a variety of antiques and art, some specialize in areas such as vintage clothing, books and Life magazines, militaria, nautical, and equestrian items, American, Asian and European glass, porcelain and pottery, and more recently, mid-century modern furniture and accessories.
