About OakGlenn Winery

Founded in 1859 by George Husmann himself on a ridge overlooking the river, just east of Hermann. Some of Husmann's original Norton grapes still grow in the vineyards.

In 1997 the winery was renamed for the majestic oak tree that marked the driveway in honor of the owner, Glenn. The oak tree died a natural death in 2006. It has been preserved and now proudly displays the hand carved OakGlenn name plate residing at the wine pavilion. The winery is located 25 miles west of Washington, Missouri, two and a half miles east of Hermann just off of Highway 100.
