About The Bayou
The Bayou's food is Modern Southern Cuisine. This encompasses our Cajun and Creole Roots. There are of course other elements present as well. Almost everything made at the Bayou is derived using Classic French techniques. Everything is made in house and fresh; stocks, Andouille sausage, burgers, fried chicken, hickory smoked ribeye, the list goes on... our ice cream is made with the Classic Creme Anglaise, using cooked eggs and whole milk, a true French vanilla cream. It is our belief that great food is derived from great ingredients, careful, knowledgeable and soulful preparation, and of course solid technique to back it all up.
