Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area is located 16.5 miles north of Boise, ID and operates with a special use permit on the Boise National Forest under the USDA.
SUMMER: During the off season, Bogus Basin’s facilities & services are not open to the general public except with reservations for special events. Our hiking and biking trails, as well as the disc golf course are open to the general public for free. Please pack in/pack out garbage and waste. Refer to our event calendar for a list of summer activities.
WINTER: Bogus Basin is open for full winter operation mid-November through mid-April from 10am-10pm weekdays/9am-10pm weekends and holidays, depending on weather and conditions. Early and late season hours can change,
